We were tired. Tired of our family arguing over him. Of being mortified every time we checked our newsfeed. We were tired of the memes and of being angry.
So on President's Day, we turned Trump into an internet refugee. Just one day to digitally protest Trump and remember what life would one day be like (thank you Biden) without Trump as President.
Through encouraging people to download a filter blocking all Trump-related media and unfollow his presidential Twitter, we were able to get a much needed break. Trump wanted to make people into outcasts. So we made him into one too.
Our event quickly went viral, receiving write-ups from Fox News, The Hollywood Reporter and even drawing celebrity support from Rose McGowen and Hannah Simone.
